Serbian Public Administration and Local Self-Government Minister Marija Obradovic said on March 15 that a total of 1.36 million citizens have so far applied via the eUprava webportal to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Obradovic, who is also a COVID-19 Crisis Headquarters’ member, told the RTS public service that she believes that number is not enough and that more people have to apply electronically.

Predrag Bogdanovic, the medical coordinator of the temporary COVID-19 hospital in Belgrade’s Arena sports hall, also told the RTS on the same day that the harsher measures of the last three weekends have yielded no results.

The facility is currently hosting 405 patients, Bogdanovic said, adding that the symptoms the hospitalized are showing are getting worse by the week.
