Bosko Obradovic, the leader of the Dveri movement, has said that he will demand of the members of the European Parliament (MEPs) mediating the inter-party dialogue on election conditions in Serbia that the talks begin as soon as possible and that they end in June, so that there are six to nine months for the conditions for fair and free elections to be met.

On May 6, Obradovic and the People’s Party leader, Vuk Jeremic, are scheduled to meet with the MEPs, who have already talked with the other opposition parties and movements.

“The paramount issue in the future talks is the freedom of media, and everything else, for me, comes second. The point it is not to have equal representation in media only during the month before the elections, but the entire pre-election period. This especially applies to public media services and TV stations with national frequency, and I’ll insist on this,” Obradovic said for the May 6 issue of the Danas daily.

Last week, Obradovic also attended the meeting between the ruling coalition and a part of the opposition which does not accept the EP’s mediation in the inter-party dialogue.
