Over the past 24 hours a total of 13 more people died of the coronavirus in Serbia while 414 new cases were registered, the Ministry of Health announced on May 25. A total of 1,079 patients have been hospitalized while 58 are on ventilators. The death toll since the outbreak of the virus has reached 6,801, while 4,097,597 people were tested of whom 710,729 were positive.

Pavle Zelic from the Agency for Medicine and Medical Equipment said on May 25 that out of the total number of vaccinated persons 940 reacted badly.

"Out of 4,270,016 persons vaccinated, only 940 people had unwanted side effects of which six were serious," Zelic told Pink TV. He said that this "is an incredibly" small number. "Even the serious reactions were weak, and cleared up in several days," he said.
