Aleksandar Vulin

Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on May 28 that the investigative bodies had "plenty of new findings" on Veljko Belivuk's criminal clan and on the persons reported missing who were believed to have been his victims.

Vulin told Pink TV that he could not say more on the subject in the interest of the investigation and for the sake of the families of the missing. "We will have to wait for the start of the trial... When the trial starts, it will be seen what monsters they are," said Vulin.

He went on to say that history would show whether they had wanted to kill Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. "They were capable of doing that. One of the arrested is a professional sniper, another had a lot of war experience...," said the minister.

In his words, the gang had unbelievably large sums of money at its disposal, estimated at "at least a billion euros per year." "Imagine when someone has that sum of money, what they can do? They can do anything and bring an assassin from the other side of the world," said Vulin.
