Eight Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 84 Newly Infected

Eight people have died of COVID-19 in Serbia in the last 24 hours, which raises the death toll of the epidemic to date to 7,039, it was announced on June 28 in a post on the covid19.rs website.

Samples from 7,530 people were tested in the same time frame, and 84 were found to be infected with the virus. Hospital care is being provided for 309 COVID patients, 13 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia, 716,385 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus.
