The Parliament of Kosovo passed on July 7 a resolution to condemn a genocide committed in Srebrenica, in 1995, "and all violations of the rights of Bosnian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina."
Eighty-nine of the present MPs voted in favor of the resolution.
Authors of the document say in Item 1 that after the Army of Republika Srpska had seized Srebrenica, it perpetrated massacres in Srebrenica and its vicinity, killing more than 8,000 Bosnian men, boys and minors.
In Item 4 the Parliament of Kosovo shares "a feeling of deep sorrow for the innocent people killed during the Srebrenica genocide and war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing sincere sympathy to the surviving members of their families."
Representatives of the Serb Ticket left the plenary session when a debate on the resolution started.
