The president of the Movement of Free Citizens, Pavle Grbovic, has assessed that “one should not exclude” the stopping of the inter-party dialogue about election conditions, mediated by members of the European Parliament, “if it becomes pointless.”

Grbovic told the Aug. 3 issue of the Danas daily that the decision about “participating or ending the participation” in the dialogue should be brought jointly by the participating opposition parties.

He said that the cooperation so far of the group of pro-European parties was “a true example” of what it should look like. “For that very reason, I expect the strategic decisions to be made jointly and I believe that we will make the decision about participating or ending the participation at a meeting, and not proclaim such decisions individually, through the media, and comment on the statements of others,” he stated.

In his words, the pro-European opposition has jointly defined the goals of and expectations from the dialogue process. “I believe the joint decision will also be made without problems, and the stopping of negotiations, in case they become completely pointless, should not be excluded,” Grbovic stated.
