39 Die From Coronavirus in Serbia, 7,201 Newly Infected

39 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours and the presence of the virus was confirmed in 7,201 cases, it was announced on Sept. 22. 

According to the announcement on the Health Ministry's web-site, 23,408 people were tested in that period. There are 5,014 covid patients currently being treated in hospitals, 195 of them on ventilators. 

7,885 people have died from the infection since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, according to official figures, while 5,476,887 samples have been tested and 886,543 were positive for the virus.
