40 Die From Coronavirus in Serbia, 17,674 Newly Infected

Coronavirus infection was confirmed in 17,674 people in Serbia in the past 24 hours, while 40 died from the disease, it was announced on the covid19.rs web-site on Jan. 27.

There are currently 3,301 people being treated for covid in hospitals, 142 of them on ventilators. 35.974 people were tested in the past 24 hours.

So far, the total of 13,417 people have died from the disease, while 1,616,584 have been infected according to official figures.
