Daily COVID-19 Count 2,231 in Serbia as 26 Die

In the last 24 hours, 26 people died of COVID-19 in Serbia, while 2,231 were confirmed to be newly infected with the coronavirus that causes the disease, the Serbian Health Ministry announced on March 7, adding that 13,632 persons had been tested.

Hospital care is being provided for 1,797 COVID patients, 83 of whom require assisted ventilation.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic was officially declared, 15,463 people have died of the disease in Serbia, while 1,927,849 were confirmed to have been infected with the virus out of a total of 8,847,698 samples tested.
