Serbian Parliament (Beta/Petar Vujanic)
Ivica Dacic, speaker of the Serbian parliament, said on March 7 that cooperation between Serbia and France was comprehensive and highly developed, as demonstrated by intensive political dialog at a high level.
He and Liliane Tanguy, a member of the French Parliament, met in Belgrade and discussed the forthcoming elections in Serbia and France and continued cooperation between the two legislatures after the votes, the Serbian parliament said in a press release.
Tanguy expressed interest in bolstering cooperation between the two parliaments through European Union projects. The MP noted that she would follow the April elections in Serbia as a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe observer mission.
