Resolution on Voting from Abroad Adopted

The State Electoral Commission has adopted a resolution enabling Serbian citizens to vote from abroad in 34 countries worldwide, including Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Malta, the U.K. and Qatar.

According to the decision announced at an Electoral Commission meeting held on March 13, proposals for the opening of 77 polling stations abroad have been sent out. The list of foreign countries were Serbian nationals can vote further includes: Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the U.S.. 

The plan is for polling stations to be open April 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, except for the U.S. and Canada, where voting will take place on April 2 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, due to time zone differences.
