Human rights attorney Aleksandar Olenik filed on March 15 charges against representatives of extreme right movements in Serbia for what he said "is calling for an aggressive war" through support to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Olenik raised charges against Liberation movement president Mladjan Djordjevic, Obraz movement  member Mladen Obradovic and Damjan Knezevic from the People's Patrols. "Life in prison is envisaged for pedophilia and for the felony of aggressive war according to article 386 of the penal code. There is a register of pedophiles and this should be introduced for everyone calling for an aggressive war," Olenik tweeted.

Explaining the charges he said that Djordjevic, Obradovic and Knezevic had participated in a gathering in Belgrade where support was extended to the Russian aggression against Ukraine. He said that "they chanted messages of support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine" and in that way encouraged citizens to support "an aggressive war by Russia against Ukraine." He added that the three of them had also threatened violence in the street if Serbia imposed sanctions against Russia.
