Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said during a May 30 meeting in Belgrade with a Member of the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, that Serbia would take a more energetic path to the European Union (EU).

The Office of the Serbian President quoted Vucic as saying that Serbia had taken a serious stance on regional politics, which made it a reliable and credible partner in the region.

Speaking about a dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Vucic said that it was the only proper way to resolve open issues and reach a sustainable agreement.

The president underlined that he expected constructive support to the dialogue and the process supposed to produce a compromise, along with the implementation of the agreements reached earlier, the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities in the first place.
