In relations between Moscow and Belgrade there has not been and there is no room for dependence and inequality, and cooperation in the area of energy is mutually beneficial, Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko said in an interview with the June 10 issue of daily Politika.

"Attempting to cause damage to Russia, the West is showing indifference toward countries like Serbia. It is becoming increasingly isolated from the rest of the world, undermining its credibility, approaching the end of its global domination," said Botsan-Kharchenko.

In response to a piece signed by the ambassadors of Great Britain, Canada, Norway and Poland, Botsan-Kharchenko told them that before talking about the crisis in Ukraine, they should deal with their own states' violations of international law.
