Three Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 751 Newly Infected

Three people died of COVID-19 in Serbia in the last 24 hours, while 751 were confirmed to be newly infected with the coronavirus that causes the disease -- 283 more than the previous day.

The number of samples tested in the last 24 hours was 7,615, while 3,702 were tested on June 26.

There are 96 persons hospitalized with COVID-19, two more than on June 26. Seven of those patients are on ventilators, as many as at the time of the previous rundown.

Since the epidemic was officially declared in Serbia, 16,124 people have died of COVID-19 and the death rate is 0.80 percent. Since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, 9,882,211 samples have been tested, 2,026,796 of which were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
