The July 14 morning meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the representatives of the Albanian Coalition of Presevo Valley marks the beginning of negotiations with parliamentary groups regarding the next prime minister designate, following the April 3 general elections.

The Albanian Coalition, which will have one seat in the new Parliament, comprises the Party for Democratic Action, the Democratic Party and the Movement for Democratic Progress. Gathering Albanians from Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the Coalition is led by Party for Democratic Action head Shaip Kamberi.

Also arriving for July 14 talks with Vucic are representatives of the Together for Vojvodina Coalition as well as of Usame Zukorlic’s Mufti’s Legacy – The Justice and Reconciliation Party electoral ticket.

Consultations between the president and the 12 parliamentary groups regarding the new Cabinet are set to last until Tuesday July 19, but certain opposition parties have already announced that they will not attend, such as the Party of Democratic Action of Sandzak.
