The rivers in Novi Pazar and Tutin are returning to their riverbeds and the situation is improving after the floods that hit those areas.
Children in Novi Pazar are not going to school on Nov. 21, higher parts of the city are without drinking water, but rain has turned into snow at higher altitudes which is a "mitigating circumstance."

The head of the Sector for Emergency Situations, Davor Vidovic, has said that Lim River levels in Prijepolje are high and that the river has caused problems for that city and the village of Brodarevo, but that a barrier has been set up to protect them.

A two-year-old boy drowned near Tutin on Nov. 20, in the Vidrenjak River which had swelled after hours of rain, and the town declared an emergency situation.

National weather service RHMZ warns that water levels of the Lim River near Prijepolje will increase to the point of reaching the limit of emergency defense against flooding in the next 12 hours, while the Ibar near Raska will reach and surpass the limit of regular defense against flooding in the next 24 hours.
