Dveri president Bosko Obradovic said on Dec. 22 that the Serb people would disappear in 80 years unless the state changed its demographic and tax policies.

Commenting on the preliminary results of a census, according to which Serbia has 500,000 people less, Obradovic called the results “catastrophic” adding that the Bureau of Statistics had “mitigated” the results and that the demographic decline was far greater.

“The Serbian government needs to decide that no stadiums can be built in the next 10 years until there are 500,000 more of us than today. Of course that means no Pink, no gay parades, no negative value system can be supported or be contrary to the family and traditional values” Obradovic was quoted as saying by Dveri.

He also called for tax reforms that would lower taxes for everyone that married including income tax and property tax.
