Air Serbia Expanding Cooperation with American Airlines

Serbia's national air carrier, Air Serbia, released a statement on Jan. 26 saying that it had expanded interline cooperation with American Airlines, one of the world's largest airlines which would enable passengers good connections between Belgrade and 70 additional destinations across the U.S.

By combining Air Serbia's flights between Belgrade and Chicago, which will take start on May 17, with American Airlines' flights to other destinations, passengers will be given the opportunity to reach a large number of cities in the U.S., the statement said.

Air Serbia manager of interline affairs and alliances, Ivana Milklja Mucalov said that the expansion of cooperation between the two airlines was contributed to by the launching of direct flights between Belgrade and Chicago.

The expansion of cooperation and introduction of direct flights to Chicago will make it easier to reach Phoenix, Las Vegas, Dan Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Miami, San Antonio, Denver, Orlando, Jacksonville, Boston, Portland,  Tampa, Houston, New Orleans, Austin,  Dallas, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Nashville, Washington, Memphis, Omaha, Springfield and many other cities.
