Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated in a Jan. 29 Instagram post that Serbia "wants dialogue and compromise, but has principles and expectations of its own," and would therefore continue to talk "to everyone about everything."

The president's Instagram post read that Serbia needed peace, a normal life for all citizens, further growth and development, and a better future for its children.

"The plan is that, faced with challenges, we work even more, try to be the best, show that Serbia wants dialogue and compromise, but has principles and expectations of its own," Vucic's post read. The post went on to say that Vucic would therefore continue to talk "to everyone about everything," and fight even harder for Serbia.

"We will need a lot of energy and even more unity, but we will preserve our country and people and push forward, because that is the only way," Vucic said.
