Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic (BETAPHOTO/MILOS MISKOV)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Feb. 1 that it was his duty to honor the Parliament of Serbia, promising to answer all MPs’ questions at a session on Kosovo and Metohija on Feb. 2.

In a video post on Instagram the president said that when Serbia had been made familiar with the French-German initiative for Kosovo, he decided to invite parliamentary parties to a round of consultations to share all the fact with them, so that together they could start solving the problem.

“They said, or at least most of them did, ‘We are not interested, we want to have a session in Parliament, to present ourselves, we want a political victory, we are not interested in Kosovo and Metohija that much,” Vucic said.

The president said that it was his duty to respect the Parliament of Serbia, and that he would come alone to answer to everyone’s questions, “knowing that they are not coming to get the answers, but only for the purposes of self-promotion.”
