Serbian President and Serbian Progressive Party leader Aleksandar Vucic on Dec. 26 said that changes will be made within the party, reminding that at the party’s steering committee meeting will be held at the end the week.

“The 2020-2025 plan for Serbia to me, is much more important, [and only] after [that is taken care of] will I deal with the party issues,” said Vucic in Smederevska Palanka, adding that the committee meeting will be closed for public.

He said that he is “all in the Saturday,” when the said plan, pertaining to Serbia’s goals in the coming period, should be made public.

Vucic also said that EUR9 million are planned to be invested in the construction of 5,000 km of regional and local roads in the next five years.

During his visit to the reconstructed regional road leading from Smederevska Palanka to Velika Plana, the president pointed out that everyone in Serbia, no matter where they live, should have good motorways, as these are a precondition to bringing in investors and opening new jobs.

To those gathered, he told that he pleads with all the people in Serbia to think well before deciding to leave their country.

During the visit Vucic also said that he warned Minister of Labor Zoran Djordjevic that he will be relieved of his duty if the family allowances, late this month, are not paid out and that his warning had effect because the payments had started immediately.
