Minister of Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Dec. 27 that he did not wish to answer “the same” questions regarding his father’s alleged involvement with the GIM company, just so that the media could have their topic of the day.

When asked by a journalist if he had deceived Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic by claiming that his father was not a GIM employee, he said that he had spoken about that many times before and that he had never misled or lied to anyone.

Stefanovic told the same journalist to freely use his responses from the previous conferences.

The minster added that he would leave it to the competent institutions to do their job and that the president, the government and the National Assembly could comment on his own work.

Branko Stefanovic is being linked to GIM, a private company that, among others, deals in resale of arms manufactured by Valjevo-based factory Krusik. According to the claims of a factory employee, Aleksandar Obradovic, GIM purchased the armaments at a price much lower than the market one.
