Former Croatian prime minister and current prime minister-designate Andrej Plenkovic on July 20 announced the names of future ministers and deputy prime ministers, including a representative of the Independent Democratic Serb Party, Boris Milosevic.

After a meeting of the leadership of the Croatian Democratic Union, of which he is the president, Plenkovic announced the names of candidates for 16 ministerial posts, instead of the previous 20.

"We received absolute support at the meeting at the party. The government's program is being finalized and will soon be presented. We went for reducing ministries, while four colleagues from the previous government will move to the parliament," Plenkovic told reporters in Zagreb.

Alongside 66 elected MPs from the Croatian Democratic Union ticket, eight representatives of national minorities - including the Serb one - gave their support to Plenkovic for forming a new cabinet, as well as one Croatian People's Party MP and one Reformists MP.

The Croatian parliament's constitutive session is scheduled for July 22.
