The designate prime minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, submitted to the Parliament the proposed composition and program of the new coalition government.

Zaev came to the Parliament with all 19 ministerial nominees of the new coalition government of his Social Democratic Party of Macedonia and the Albanian Democratic Union for Integration of Ali Ahmeti, which is fewer than the outgoing government's 26 ministers.

"The government's program fully reflects the dedication of political parties of this coalition, to the uncompromising fight against crime and corruption, the thorough cleansing of the judiciary and the investigation of the origin of property and money of all officials," Zaev told reporters in front of the Parliament before he submitted the names and the program of the new government.

The designate prime minister and leader of the Social Democrats said he expected North Macedonia to have the government already at the start of next week, for which he had nominated "an excellent selection of candidates," and stressed that he believed that "an unprecedented positive four-year period for the citizens and the country" lied ahead.
