The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 3 reached an agreement on the distribution of a EUR330m loan from the IMF, for combating the coronavirus epidemic and dealing with its economic consequences.

Out of the EUR330m, the Federation and its 10 cantons have received 61.5% and 37.5% has gone to Republika Srpska, while 1% has gone to the Brcko District.

The money had been sitting in the deposit account of the Ministry of Finance for transactions with the IMF for a while, because there had been no agreement in the Federation on how to distribute the money between the entity and the cantons.
