Energy Community

Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing the threat of new sanctions from the EU’s Energy Community, Community spokeswoman Barbora Poyner has said.

She explained that a hearing would be held before the Energy Community Advisory Committee on Nov. 6, to which representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been invited, the daily Dnevni Avaz reports.

The Energy Community has initiated a procedure against Bosnia because of, as it said, the issued state guarantee approved in favor of the Exim Bank of China for a loan to power utility company Elektroprivreda BiH, for the construction of TPP Tuzla’s Block 7.
