Croatia Airlines

The Croatia Airlines company reported operative losses of HRK95.7m (EUR12.64m) in the first quarter, for net losses of HRK110.5m.

This is what the Croatian airline company’s latest report says. The company said that the main reason for the losses was the coronavirus, which had stopped the majority of flights.“ The first quarter of 2020 was marked by major changes in business, which had a huge effect on the company’s financial dealings.

The crisis caused by the coronavirus has drastically lowered demand for services, which along with travel limitations has lowered capacities and drastically impacted the company’s flight schedule, in terms of flight cancellations or diminished operations on existing routes, or the postponement and cancellation of new routes,” the B92 reports.
