The monthly income of Serbian households in money and in kind in Q3 this year averaged RSD66,909 while expenditures totaled RSD67,131, the Serbian Statistical Office said on Dec. 16.
Money income amounted to RSD64,479. Income from regular employment accounted for 51.2% in total monthly earnings, pensions accounted for 33.4%, income from agriculture, hunting and fishing 4.3%, income outside of regular employment 2.9%, while the share of social insurance revenue was 2.8%.
As for expenditures, the most money was spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages (34.4%), rent, water, electricity, gas and other fuel (15.5%), transportation (9%), communications 5.3% and health care 4.6%. The data on income and expenditures were collected on a sample of 1,562 Serbian households.
