Business sentiment is at an all-time low due to the coronavirus, dashing optimism in all economic sectors and among local consumers.

According to a recent Slovenian Statistics Bureau report, business sentiment dropped to -39.5 points in April from -3.7 points in March and 6.7 points in the same period last year, B92 has reported.

The Bureau for Statistics has released a statement saying that trust in the manufacturing sector had gone down mostly due to pessimism about orders and production expectations, adding that only 9.0% of companies had not been affected by restrictions on activities in the past month.
