Slovenian Budget Sees EUR306m First Quarter Deficit

The Slovenian state budget had a deficit of EUR306m in the first quarter as opposed to EUR202m in the same period last year. 

Revenues grew to EUR2.39bn for EUR23m more year-on-year while expenditures increased by slightly less than EUR128m to EUR2.69bn, SeeBiz has reported. 

According to the Ministry of Finance, tax income in the observed period equaled EUR2bn which is an increase of 1.5% or EUR30.9m less year-on-year.
