Last week’s seizure of Zeleznice Srbije’s railway facilities in northern Kosovo, is a continuation of pressure on the local Serb community by Albin Kurti’s government. This time, however, the move has a symbolic connotation and is linked to the start of the campaign for parliamentary elections in Kosovo on June 7. This was preceded by the arrest of directors of Serb healthcare and educational institutions in Kosovo, for sacking employees who do not support the Serb List.
