The Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), which is under U.S. sanctions because of Russia’s majority stake in the corporation, has once again secured an extension of its operating license from the U.S. authorities, this time until July 1. It appears likely though that this will be the final deadline for reaching an agreement on the company’s new ownership structure.
