The funeral of Ratko Mladic (BetaPhoto/Milan Ilic)
The funeral of Army of Republika Srpska wartime commander Ratko Mladic, convicted of genocide and other war crimes, has caused heated reactions in both Serbia and certain countries in the region, while European officials did not stay silent on the subject either. Both the funeral in Belgrade and the commemoration that preceded it looked the way Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic wanted, who used those events to score political points.
