Last week, the election campaign in Serbia was marked by violent incidents, with members of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party always being one of the involved parties. After the situation cooled down somewhat, the leader of the ruling coalition, Aleksandar Vucic, reactivated the narrative whereby he baselessly accuses the university student movement of Vojvodina separatism, with wholehearted support from Nenad Canak, the former long-time president of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina.
