General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Dodik at Risk of Defeat in Republika Srpska

The Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated in Belgrade on April 15 that Republika Srpska (RS) would have had much more problems in the corona virus pandemic, had Serbia not helped.

"The first help that arrived was from Serbia. Without Serbia's understanding, our medical sector would certainly have had problems," Dodik said at the joint news conference after a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Dodik said that he had asked Serbia for additional medical equipment, including ventilators, and that it was granted. Commenting on the curfew during Easter, Dodik said that he and Vucic concurred that the spread of the virus caused by the love of the church or religion must not be allowed, and urged believers to celebrate the holiday ay home.
