Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic at a May 25 meeting with Russian Ambassador Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko voiced gratitude for the timely assistance of Russian experts to Serbia in the fight against the pandemic, which had once again confirmed the solidarity and traditional friendship between the two countries.
According to a press release from the Foreign Ministry, the participants in the meeting discussed current bilateral cooperation issues and upcoming activities in international organizations. Dacic informed the Russian side of the government's decisions on easing certain measures that were introduced during the state of emergency.
The interlocutors said they expected the improved epidemiological situation in Serbia to allow for an exchange of high-level visits as soon as possible, as well as the continuation of intensive activities aimed at enhancing all aspects of bilateral cooperation, adds the press release.
