A donation of the Defense Ministry of China to the Serbian medical corps – medical equipment for the prevention and suppression of the epidemic, worth EUR755,000, arrived in Serbia on July 16.
The Defense Ministry of Serbia has stated that the donation included "40 non-invasive ventilators, 20 vital signs monitors, 30 infusion pumps – devices for intravenous therapy, five portable infrared thermometers and six thermo-vision helmets for the remote reading of body temperature."
The aid was delivered in the presence of the Chinese ambassador to Serbia, Chen Bo, and of Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin, who concurred that the two countries were bound by "friendship made of steel."
