Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic announced on July 23 that 412 positive cases of the corona virus infection were registered in Serbia in the past 24 hours, among 11,079 tested people.

She said at the news conference of the Crisis Response Team that there were 185 people on ventilators, while nine people died from the consequences of the infection in the past 24 hours.

The majority of new cases were detected in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Sabac, while the situation is improving in Novi Pazar, Tutin and Sjenica.

Brnabic stated that neither she, nor the members of the Crisis Response Team for fighting the corona virus epidemic, had information about fake corona virus tests having been in circulation in Serbia, at any time.

During the conference, in her reply to the question about whether it was possible that fake negative corona virus test results were being sold in Serbia, that would enable movement and even travel across the border, she said that she had "never encountered such information."
