In Serbia in the past 24 hours seven people died as the result of the coronavirus bringing the death toll to 605.
The government Crisis Headquarters for curbing the epidemic, said on Aug. 4 that a total of 9,590 people were tested for the virus in the past 24 hours of whom 287 were positive.
A total of 3,430 patients have been hospitalized of whom 143 are on ventilators. Serbia has tested 703,246 people since the outbreak of the pandemic of whom 26,738 tested positive.
Batut Institute deputy director Darija Kisic Tepavcevic said on Aug. 4 that there "is a clear tendency" of a decrease in confirmed cases by laboratories in all areas of Serbia.
