Democratic Party of Serbia’s leader Milos Jovanovic believes that given the political situation in Serbia and, what he calls its single party parliament, “it would not be strange at all, or illogical” for Serbia to have snap parliamentary elections along with the regular presidential and Belgrade city elections scheduled for 2022.

Jovanovic recalled for Danas daily’s Aug. 17 issue, that snap elections were held even in 2014 and 2016, when “the conditions were more normal.

“We will think hard in the coming days about our future political activities and after that we will begin preparing for elections at all levels,” Democratic Party of Serbia’s leader said.
