Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo agreed on Nov. 19 that trade, tourism and telecommunications were very important areas of cooperation between Serbia and China, in which the two countries had been longtime reliable partners, and that there was room to improve cooperation, the Ministry said on Nov. 19.
Matic stressed that there was an untapped potential in the Serbian food industry for boosting trade between the two countries and the sale of a larger number of quality Serbian products in China.
Speaking on the interest of Chinese companies in building a logistics center in Serbia, Chen Bo confirmed that Serbia was supposed to become the center of distribution in the region and announced that she would also labor to showcase potential investors for the purpose of raising production capacities in Serbia.
