Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at the end of a visit to Bahrain that the two states had created a good and great friendship.
"We have created a new friendship, which is important for the people of Serbia. A good and great friendship. We will talk, coordinate our actions and support each other in the international arena," Vucic said on Instagram.
Before leaving for Bahrain the president visited the United Arab Emirates, where he announced "serious progress" in relations with Saudi Arabia.
In interviews with the Pink TV during the two visits, President Vucic said that a decision by the European Union to only allow entry to travellers immunized with Western vaccines would be scandalous, but good for Serbia, because Belgrade would invite tourist from China, Russia, Turkey, Africa and Latin America to visit the country.
