The Belgrade deputy mayor and city inoculation coordinator, Goran Vesic, said on April 13 that vaccination of workers in the hospitality and catering sectors, recreational centers, bakeries, and hair and beauty salons would be organized next week.
Vesic told BETA that starting April 19, special hours will be booked for the employees in the mentioned sectors so that they could receive vaccines and start as working as soon as possible.
He stressed that as of April 12, a total of 535,003 adult Belgraders, or 38 percent of the city population, had been vaccinated, of whom 358,19, or 25.5 percent, had been revaccinated.
Vesic added that 342,789 Belgraders had received Sinopharm shot, 71,637 had chosen Sputnik V, 74,989 had been administered Pfizer, while 45,588 had opted for AstraZeneca. “Our goal is to have 750,000 Belgraders inoculated,” Vesic stressed.
