The prime minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, announced on June 22 that he, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic would deliver a message to the EU leaders in Brussels that, if there was no progress in the process of the region's European integration, that would be a serious problem and would affect the EU's credibility in the Balkans.

"If there is no progress in the process of European integration, that will be a serious problem and would undermine the EU's credibility in the Balkans. We will convey our stance on this matter jointly at the EU's summit for the Western Balkans, in a broad forum at the center of European diplomacy," Kovacevski posted on his Facebook page.

The prime minister of North Macedonia has confirmed information that Edi Rama, Aleksandar Vucic and he had decided to affirm the stance that North Macedonia, Albania and Serbia had a future in Europe. "We have decided to reiterate our commitment to the European path for the entire Western Balkans, before the forum of friendly countries, which are committed to the economic and political progress of the region, and advocate the quick and decisive Euro-integration processes," Kovacevski wrote in the post.
