Nine Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 2,399 Newly Infected

Nine people have died of COVID-19 in Serbia in the last 24 hours, while 2,399 people were found to be positive for the virus out of 13,132 samples tested in the same time frame.

Hospital care is being provided for 489 COVID patients, 275 of whom are on ventilators, the Serbian Ministry of Health has announced.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 16,891 people have died of COVID in Serbia, and the death rate is 0.72 percent.

Since the outbreak in Serbia, 10,902,339 samples have been tested, 2,336,368 of which were found to be positive.
