Ten Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 2,486 Newly Infected

Ten people have died of COVID-19 in Serbia in the last 24 hours, while 2,486 have been confirmed newly infected with the virus.

The same time frame saw 13,913 samples tested.

There are currently 436 patients hospitalized with the disease, 29 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, 16.960 people have died of the disease in Serbia, and the death rate on Sept. 26 stood at 0.72 percent. The number of people tested throughout the course of the epidemic in Serbia to date stands at 10,986,288, while the presence of the virus was confirmed in 2,351,526.
