A total of 373,360 doses of influenza vaccine had arrived in Serbia and had been distributed to all public health institutes, the Serbian Health Insurance Fund said on Sept. 27.
The mandatory vaccination program defines the categories which can receive shots free of charge, which include pregnant women, people aged 65 and above, children older than six months who have chronic diseases, and family members of extremely vulnerable people who cannot be jabbed due to their medical conditions.
Vaccines are also free of charge for health workers and employees of and people living in nursing homes and social and healthcare facilities.
