The leader of the Dveri Movement, MP Bosko Obradovic told BETA on Jan. 19 that, after the latest statements of European officials, it was clear that Serbia's further EU integration was conditioned by the recognition of the false state of Kosovo and by giving up on a part of state territory.
He assessed that it was time for Serbia to stop perpetuating the illusion called joining the EU and turn towards normal bilateral cooperation with the EU that would be mutually beneficial.
Obradovic said he was very grateful to Germany's special envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for openly saying that Serbia's further EU path was conditioned by giving up on a part of its state territory.
"Would Sarrazin consent to something like that if it were a part of Germany? Which nation and state in the world would consent to ceding its territorial integrity and sovereignty? Why is that expected of Serbia, then?" Obradovic wondered in an interview to BETA.
